Forgot Grandma's Birthday Again

Oh dear, another year and I forgot my grandma’s birthday. She always tells me she doesn’t care about presents but just to stop by for a chat. I feel like such a grandchild-grandma letdown, especially since last year she baked her famous chocolate chip cookies just to see me and I was too busy with work. This time it was supposed to be the year of making it special, but my mind wandered off yet again. I hope she’ll forgive me, after all, how could anyone stay mad at a cake shaped like her beloved garden gnome? 😂
