...Trying to Make Friends...

So I just moved here like two weeks ago, and it's been all over the place, you know? Like I'm still trying to figure out where everything is and what time I need to leave for work so I don't miss my bus. And then there are these really weird things happening. One day, I accidentally walked into the wrong building and ended up in some kind of yoga class... yeah, let's just say it didn't go well because I know nothing about yoga at all. The instructor was super nice though, but everyone else looked so focused and flexible. It felt a bit like a fish out of water moment for me.... But then there are also these other moments where I feel like maybe things will start to get easier soon. Like when I saw this cute little coffee shop around the corner from my new apartment last week, and thought 'I could be one of those people that go every day.' But you know, I've been too nervous to actually walk in and order something. It's silly, right? I mean, it's not like I'm walking into a lion's den or anything... So here I am, still figuring out the city, trying not to look completely lost on the street... Am I just being paranoid about fitting in, or is this normal when you first move somewhere new? Do people really sit around feeling weirdly self-conscious all day long while they try to adjust, or am I doing something wrong? What's your advice for me, guys? How do I get over this hump of nervousness and just start living my life here like everyone else seems to be already?...
