My Secret Love for Ice Cream Sandwiches

I know everyone says ice cream sandwich cookies should be flat and hard, but here's the thing, I totally dig the softer, chewier ones. My mom always buys the crunchy kind from that one bakery downtown, but I've been sneaking into her freezer to eat the soft ones she never notices. Tonight, when we were at a party, I couldn't resist getting one of those new soft mint chocolate chip ones they had there. It was glorious, but also messy, ice cream everywhere and people giving me funny looks. Am I the only one who likes chewy ice cream sandwiches? Or is it just me being weird?
