The Color of Lies

I told my friend I loved the color grey, but really, it's just that every crayon has an expiration date and grey is one of the last colors to go. Maybe it’s because grey isn’t flashy or exciting, it just sticks around until there’s nothing left to mix with, a dull survivor if anything. But telling her this wouldn't be funny, so I stuck with grey instead.
