I Broke The Cafeteria Sink On Purpose

So I kind of did something not so nice today. See, the cafeteria sink in our school was leaking and making a lot of noise for like, weeks now. Everyone knows it but no one has fixed it. It's been annoying me because it sounds super weird, almost like someone whispering “help” over and over again, which is totally freaky when you're getting your lunch tray ready. Anyway, today in math class, I was thinking about it and had this idea. What if I did something so bad that they'd have to replace the sink right away? So after school, I went into the cafeteria with a bunch of water balloons filled with paint thinner I found at home (I'm not sure why my dad keeps that in the house but whatever) and one by one, threw them down the drain. It was super satisfying to watch it melt everything inside. Now everyone's talking about how much money they'll have to spend on a new sink instead of fixing this old one. I feel bad because it could've been fixed easily with some new parts but I guess my math logic wasn't exactly perfect here, huh? Also, Dad is going to be really mad if he finds out I used his paint thinner. Oh well, at least the sink won't leak anymore and the weird whispering noises will be gone. But seriously, now that it's broken for real, I feel a bit guilty. What do you think about my math reasoning? Was this really just me being impatient or was there something deeper behind it?
