i got fired yesterday

so i spent the last two weeks working on this big project for my boss and was like really stressed out about it, thinking how much she’d love me for doing such a good job. but then she came to me and said they’re closing down the department entirely next month anyway, so no one cares if the project is done or not. i was just so angry and humiliated that i told her right there to go f herself and stormed out. now im unemployed over some stupid thing, trying to figure why i thought it mattered what she wanted
