Telling Off My Boss's Dog

So here’s this thing that happened at work. I know it sounds crazy, but let me explain. One day, my boss left their overgrown golden retriever in the nurse’s station while they went to a meeting. The dog was so big and fluffy, and it just laid there with this regal look on its face like ‘look at me, don’t you dare touch me.’ It was driving everyone crazy, everyone but me, that is. I couldn’t take it anymore. So when my boss wasn’t around, I got a can of air freshener and sprayed the dog’s fur from head to tail while he was napping. You should’ve seen the look on his face when he woke up with this weird scent. It felt so good to get back at him for all those times he left his big paws on the sterile countertops and chewed our medical charts. Now, I know what you’re thinking, I could have gotten fired for this. But here’s the thing: my boss has a soft spot for pranks too, and we ended up having a laugh about it during our next team meeting. It felt liberating to let off some steam in such an unconventional way.
