New City Blues

Just moved to this big city, and I feel so out of place. Everyone seems busy or has their own lives figured out. I spent the first week exploring, trying every coffee shop, bookstore, but it just feels lonely. Met a few people, but no real connections yet. Every time I try to talk to someone new, my palms get sweaty. The city is beautiful, full of culture and opportunities, but I’m stuck in this apartment, staring at the walls. Everyone here seems so put together, like they know what they’re doing. Maybe it’s just me being too critical or homesick for familiar faces.
