Detention Defiance

I’m not going to pretend I didn’t think it was worth it. Last week in math class, Mrs. Thompson caught me sending notes to Alex during a test. She’s always been a bit of a stickler for the rules and she got pretty mad, telling me that detention would follow. So here I am, facing detention after school today. But you know what? If it means getting one last message to Alex before our math class project groups are set next week, it was totally worth it. I mean, who needs an extra hour of free time anyway? Now everyone knows I’ll be there in her room after class, but at least I got that note off my chest and into his hands. Maybe Mrs. Thompson will understand why we all need a little rebellion sometimes.
