i lied about my age at the bar

so i went to this trendy new bar downtown and they had one of those fancy swipe card systems that checks your id before you can even get in. now, i know i look young for my age but 28 is still legal right? nope apparently not for this place. so i did something stupid and swiped the same year as my cousin who's like 25 going on 17. felt super dumb when they asked me to show id later and had to dig through my wallet for a legit one, everyone was staring at me like i was committing a crime or something. i guess i'll stick to places where you can just walk in without proving anything huh.
