Caught on Camera

So I admit it, I'm totally hooked on the home security camera feed. Sure, part of me is there to keep an eye out for package thieves or weird noises in the middle of the night, but let's be real: my kids are hilarious and unpredictable. And I've caught some epic moments! Like that time little Jamie decided to do a backflip off his bed while I was working from home, and it nearly sent me into cardiac arrest, but mostly because I couldn't stop laughing at how gutsy he was being. Or when both of them pulled the ultimate prank on their aunt by leaving a trail of flour across the living room and hiding behind the curtains to giggle at her confused face while she tried to figure out what happened. These moments make me proud and grateful for being around to catch them, but I'm pretty sure my kids would think it's super lame if they knew just how much I enjoy watching their hijinks. So here’s to hoping I can keep this little secret between us.
