Home Alone Blues

So I moved into this dorm thinking college would be the coolest thing ever. And maybe it is in some ways. But man, do I miss home. Like, every time someone's not around to share my room or bathroom space, there's just all these random noises that remind me of how lonely a big empty house can feel. It's weird because it's supposed to be this exciting new chapter and everything, but sometimes I'm like 'I want to go back to having Mom yell at me for leaving the lights on.' Not cool to admit, but true.
