When I Forget My Friends' Names Mid-Conversation

So like, today was one of those days where I'm walking around the halls and I see someone from my class who's like my third-best friend ever. We've had lunch together a million times, but somehow I just blanked on her name. It was super awkward because she called out to me and all I could think was 'Oh no, oh no.' So instead of saying anything or running away (which I totally thought about doing), I kind of just stood there like an idiot and then blurted out 'Hey... uh, what's your name again?' She laughed it off, but man, does this happen to anyone else? Is it normal to forget someone's name who you've known for ages? Or am I just super weird? 😅
