My Kids Think I'm Clueless

So here’s the thing, I try my best to keep up with my kids’ world, but let's be real, they think I’m a total dinosaur. Last week, I asked one of them if their new friends from school were cool and she just rolled her eyes like I was missing out on some major social cues. 'Mom,' she said, 'I don’t talk about people being “cool” anymore. They’re either good for gaming or bad for gaming.' Then there was the time I thought I was helping them by suggesting they watch a new show everyone is talking about... only to find out it’s not even on TV but some app thing. They just look at me like, 'Really Mom? Really?' But you know what? I'm still laughing and enjoying their world. Plus, if anyone else is clueless in the parental department, they’re in good company, right?
