...Sometimes I Spy...

I know I shouldn't have done it, but the other day, when my teenager was in their room and had that song playing really loud (you know which one), I snuck into their room to look through their things... just a little peek. It's not like I found anything scandalous or even surprising, but now every time they walk by me, I feel guilty as if they can tell. I mean, what kind of parent spies on their kid? ...And yet, here we are. Sometimes it feels like the only way to understand them is to see through their eyes... or their browser history.
