I Stole a Snack from the Break Room

So here's this thing I did at work that I know is kind of lame but honestly, it was too tempting. There was this big jar of candy in the break room, like seriously huge, full to the brim with every kind you could think of, and one day my co-worker Alex left a bag of pretzels out next to it. As soon as they walked away, I nabbed both and went back to my desk. It felt so naughty and I couldn’t help but smirk about it all afternoon. But then later, when no one was around, I saw the candy jar was now empty, which made me feel kinda bad because maybe someone else wanted those pretzels too. So here's what I'm wondering: is it really that wrong to take a little treat every once in a while? Or am I just being paranoid about getting caught? Maybe you guys have some advice or can relate? 😅
