Just Did It

I was at this huge tech conference last week and my boss wanted me to network and schmooze. Instead of all that, I spent the whole day in the arcade playing Pac-Man on an old-school machine with these college kids who were there for the party stuff. Everyone thought I'd be at some high-level panel talking about blockchain or AI or whatever, but nah, I was more into just having a good time and ignoring the expectations. My boss found out when he saw me on a picture from my phone that night celebrating our Pac-Man championship with those kids. He wasn't happy, but you know what? It's not like it hurt anyone or anything. And yeah, if they ever do another conference next year, I might just spend all day in the arcade again.
