I Spilled Mom's Tea

Saw mom getting ready with her nice tea in the morning. Thought: 'Ah, better warn her not to take big sips when we're upstairs.' Instead, walked right past and spilled the tea as she poured. Tried to say it was just an accident, but now every time I see that cup without a handle, I cringe.
