i was a total class clown today

so i went to my intro to psych lecture this morning and i just couldnt focus at all. the prof was doing that boring data thing again, yawn. so i decided to take matters into my own hands. i pulled out my phone and started a group chat with my dormmates, asking if they wanted to join in on some fun class antics. we got this silly meme chain going, passing notes back and forth, making jokes about the lecture material. by the end of the hour, everyone was giggling like kids again. but did i just turn into an immature jokester overnight? am i really this bored in class or is there something deeper going on here? do other people have moments where they just break out into random silliness during a serious talk? give me your thoughts, please.
