Why Does My Toddler Like Cereal So Much?

Okay, so here's my confession. I swear every day I'm just one box of cereal away from a complete breakdown at the grocery store because of how much my toddler loves cereal and refuses to eat anything else for breakfast. It's like he has some kind of super cereal-taste that makes all other foods taste bland in comparison. And don't even get me started on the tantrums if I dare suggest an egg or a piece of fruit instead! At this rate, by next week, every shelf in my pantry will be emptied of breakfast options except for boxes and boxes of Cheerios and similar cereals. Is it really so wrong to want my kid to have something more balanced? Oh well, maybe it's just easier if I stock up on the good stuff and let him indulge, as long as he doesn't turn his nose up at a sandwich later. #toddlertroubles
