Caught Stealing Candy from the Break Room

Oh my gosh, can you believe it? I did something absolutely crazy today at work. You know how our break room has that candy dish in it? Well, one day when everyone was out and about doing their thing, I just couldn't resist looking inside! And there was this amazing chocolate-covered almond bar that looked so good. It was like the heavens were calling to me with divine candy vibes. So, well, I decided to take it. Just for a moment, I thought no one would ever know, but guess what? I accidentally dropped it later and someone saw me bending down to pick it up right after lunch. Talk about karma! My heart was racing the whole time thinking they'd figure out who took that little piece of heaven from our shared stash. But, you know what? Even though I felt terrible afterwards, part of me is still tempted every day when I see that dish now. It's like there's this constant tug-of-war between my guilty conscience and my sweet tooth. Hope I never get caught again! Can you believe it?
