Little White Lie at Night

Last night at work, it was super boring, I had nothing better to do than stare into space and watch the clock tick down. So I texted my friend saying I was stuck with a huge stack of paperwork... but actually? I had none. Just needed something to pass the time till morning. And guess what? It worked! My night was filled with silly texts back and forth, like high school all over again.... But now that everyone’s waking up and starting their days, I’m left wondering if this little fib is going to come back and bite me in the behind somehow...
