A Small Deception at Work

I recently added an extra 15 minutes to my lunch break in a meeting where I was supposed to be present for a crucial decision. The justification? A sudden, unplanned need to make an urgent phone call. In reality, it was just the last few episodes of 'The Mandalorian' that I couldn't resist finishing before getting back to work. As a software engineer who often prides myself on honesty and efficiency, this small deception felt particularly out of character. Yet, there's something oddly comforting about indulging in my guilty pleasure without feeling too guilty, until now.
