Confession of an Old Habit
Anonymous Guilty Wildcard #324 · General
I've had this embarrassing habit since college, but I’ve never really talked about it with anyone. Every time before a big exam or work presentation, I end up in the kitchen digging through my spice rack for a certain canister that’s always been filled to the brim. Not salt or pepper, mind you, but cinnamon sugar, that sweet stuff from childhood when sprinkled on toast could make any day feel special. It might seem silly now as an adult, but I just can’t shake it. Whenever my nerves get too much to handle, a little sprinkle of cinnamon sugar magically calms me down and makes everything okay again for at least another hour or so until the next crisis hits. Maybe someday I’ll figure out how to manage stress without reverting back to this childhood crutch, but honestly, who doesn’t need some sweetness in their life?
