Why Do I Keep Ordering Canned Soup?

So, here's the thing. Every time I'm at the grocery store and I see canned soup on sale, my brain just kind of goes into overdrive with all sorts of flavors and scenarios. Like, one day it’s tomato basil because honestly, who doesn’t love a good chunky tomato soup? And then there are days when chicken noodle just seems like the perfect comfort food for no particular reason at all. I end up buying them so often that my pantry is overflowing with canned soups of every flavor imaginable. I mean, it’s not like I don’t have other foods in the house, but something about these tins of condensed goodness just makes me feel like a kid again, you know? And yet here I am, well into my 40s and still buying them up left and right. Maybe it's nostalgia or maybe it's just that good old childhood comfort thing. But seriously, is there anything wrong with this behavior? Do others do the same when they're feeling a bit nostalgic and need something familiar? Is this normal for someone my age or am I just overthinking everything here? Any thoughts on why canned soup seems to be my go-to comfort food?
