New Job Blues

So I started this new job and it's been okay, I guess. Not terrible, but there’s just something off about the place. The first day, my boss told me to make copies of some files, really boring stuff, but then everyone else was just sitting around chatting or playing on their phones. It felt weird watching them chill while I had work to do. And at lunch, no one invited me out with them, which made me feel like an outsider. Today’s been better though, because I figured out the coffee machine myself and got a real hit of caffeine in my system. But still, there's this constant nagging feeling that everyone thinks I’m clueless or something. I wish I could just skip work every day and read books instead.
