Late-Night Mistakes

Working the night shift has its perks and downsides. Last week, I was so caught up in a mundane task that I didn't realize my coworker had left for the night already. Next thing I knew, it was 3 AM and I found myself rearranging all the chairs into neat rows, just to keep busy until my replacement arrived. It felt like such a pointless endeavor at the time, but I couldn’t stop thinking about how out of place everything looked once it was back to normal. Maybe it's just me, but there’s something oddly satisfying in seeing an office rearranged like that.
