I Swapped My Grandchildren's Presents

Well, it all started when I got those presents from my children for their kids. You know how you want to give the grandkids something special and unique? Yeah, well, somehow I ended up with twin dolls that look almost identical, except one has a slightly different hair color. I just couldn't tell which doll went with who, so in a moment of weakness...I swapped them around. One morning, my granddaughter came over with tears streaming down her face because she thought something was wrong with the doll she got. It took some sweet talking to convince her it wasn’t about the doll at all. But oh boy, did I feel guilty! Here I am thinking I’m being such a clever grandma, when really I just made my little one cry for nothing. Now every time I see that doll, I remember my little fib and can't help but chuckle to myself.
