Solo Lunches in the Corner of Coffee Shops

Every day I sit alone in the corner booth of my local coffee shop, pretending to be engrossed in work but really just scrolling through social media and wishing someone would come sit with me. It's silly, because who wants to hang out with a freelancer anyway? Yet here I am, typing away at my laptop, feeling like an old cat on the windowsill, watching everyone else play outside.
