Tired of the Same Old Routine

I let my class loose with an impromptu dance party during math class. We blasted some upbeat tunes and everyone danced for what felt like hours, but was probably only 20 minutes. Students were smiling and laughing, a rare sight in the middle of an algebra lesson. I didn't care if it went against the curriculum or annoyed the principal; seeing them happy made it worth it.
