Oopsie at Lunch

So today during lunch, I was trying to impress some friends by pretending like I never get nervous before big tests. I said something about it being easy and a breeze, but I totally spaced on studying yesterday because of TikTok. The thing is, we had that pop quiz right after lunch, and guess what? Yeah, I bombed it. Now every time my teacher asks me to stay back for extra help, I feel like she's calling me out for the fib earlier. I'm feeling pretty guilty now thinking about how many other times I might've made up stuff just to look cool.
