feeling so blue today

i dont know why but every time i clock into work at the coffee shop it feels like im signing up for a lifetime of routine without much chance of change. sure there are days when the barista life is great, seeing regular customers smile and get that caffeine boost they need to start their day. but most days, its just me grinding beans and making lattes over and over again. i catch myself staring out the window at people rushing by, wondering what it would be like to join them in the real world instead of being stuck inside here all day long. its not that im unhappy with my job exactly, more that im just tired of feeling stuck.
