My Boss Isn't My Type

I’ve been working at this tech firm for two years now, and let’s just say my career has grown much faster than any personal relationship. But here’s the thing: I think my boss has a crush on me. He’s been dropping subtle hints and lingering longer than necessary when we’re in meetings. The other day, he even called me into his office to ask about my weekend plans, not exactly standard procedure for someone above you in the hierarchy. Now, don’t get me wrong; I have no interest in getting involved with a colleague, especially not my direct supervisor. But here’s where it gets interesting: I’m convinced that he hasn’t actually read any of my code contributions over the last six months. He seems more preoccupied with finding an excuse to talk about non-work-related stuff. So I decided to play a little prank on him. Last week, I submitted a report with what appeared to be important updates but was really just a bunch of gibberish sprinkled with inside jokes only my friends and I understand. Guess who had their head down over it for half the meeting? Definitely not me, I could barely hold back laughing. And ever since then, he’s been giving me these suspicious looks like maybe there are more secrets about me than meets the eye.
