New City Blues

So I moved to this new city a month ago and, you know, trying to make friends is harder than solving algebra. Yesterday, I tried going to a local coffee shop to meet people but ended up sitting next to someone who was on their phone the entire time. I thought maybe they were just really busy or something, so I kept chatting with the barista instead. But then, this morning while browsing Reddit in bed (yes, still wearing my pajamas), I saw a post from the guy at the coffee shop complaining about annoying strangers invading his space. And you know what made it worse? He included a picture of me! Not cool, dude. Now everyone thinks I'm some kind of social butterfly who goes around bothering people just to make myself look good. Who knew being ignored was such an achievement in this city?
