Spilled Coffee All Over My Laptop During a Zoom Call

So today was one of those days where everything went wrong. I was in the middle of an important project meeting when my cup slipped and all this coffee splattered everywhere! First, it hit my keyboard, then spilled onto the laptop screen. And just as I thought it couldn't get worse, a huge stain appeared on the cushion behind me, let's hope there wasn't a camera angle for that! My heart was pounding so fast I felt like I could hear it over everyone else's talking in the background of the call. To top it all off, my cat started playing with the coffee-soaked wires, and now everything smells like old paper from the books soaked up coffee earlier this week. It's days like these when you wonder if there’s a cosmic force against freelancers who need to work from home without any help around. But I'll laugh about it later, I think! At least it was a good learning experience on why not to have drinks near important electronic devices, right? 🤦‍♀️
