My Artistic Lie

Hey there! So I'm this aspiring artist who loves to paint and draw, but let's just say my skills are still in the process of blossoming. One day at a local art fair, I was feeling really insecure about one of my paintings - it wasn't looking as good as the others, despite all my efforts. To hide my discomfort, I told everyone it was inspired by some obscure medieval painting technique that I'd spent weeks mastering. People were genuinely impressed and asked tons of questions! It felt so silly afterwards, but seeing people's faces light up with wonder made me feel a little better about sharing art with the world anyway.
