The Tip Jar Conundrum...

I work at a lively bar downtown... Last night, one regular handed me a massive tip... It was so generous it made everyone else's contributions seem small by comparison... I felt both flattered and weirdly uncomfortable... Like maybe they were trying too hard or something... Not sure what to make of it... Am I overthinking this? Is this normal...?
