Middle Child Struggles

I'm the middle child in a family of three kids. My sister gets all the attention for being the oldest and more mature, while my little brother is always seen as the cute baby. I often feel like I don't have any unique role or spotlight. Is it just me, or do other middle children feel this way too? Any advice on how to stand out without feeling overshadowed by my siblings?
