Monday Through Friday

So, here's something I'm not exactly proud of but feel okay admitting anyway because let’s face it, everyone has their moment. It's been one of those weeks where the clock ticks like a metronome in my head, marking time that feels both endless and pointless at the same time. Now, if you've ever worked in an office environment long enough, there comes a point when you look around and realize nobody actually does anything productive all day, it's just emails and meetings masquerading as work. So I decided to put pen to paper and list every single item from my desk drawer, counting them down like some strange inventory of the mundane. Yes, it's true, I'm that office worker who spends way too much time organizing random supplies rather than focusing on real tasks. But hey, at least everything is alphabetized now, right? Don't get me wrong, I know what I need to do and I'll get there eventually; it's just hard when the most exciting part of your day is figuring out where you put those extra staples.
