Art Is My Rebellion

I'm the kind of person who believes that art is the ultimate form of rebellion. Last year, when our school was pushing us to follow strict guidelines on a big mural project, I secretly painted a hidden scene under everyone's noses, a satirical take on authority and conformity. It got me into trouble with both my teachers and some friends who felt it disrupted group harmony. But honestly? I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Painting that small act of defiance was liberating, even if it meant facing consequences. Sometimes you just need to stick to your principles, even when the whole world is telling you to conform.
