Why Do They Keep Saying That About Me?

I'm new here on campus and so far, everyone seems to think of me as the shy, quiet type. I keep trying to show them who I am, but it feels like they just don't care or are too busy with their own lives. Sometimes when walking around late at night by myself, I wish there was a way to shout from the rooftops that I'm not someone you should pity.
