Spilled the Beans on My Own Mistakes

I was working my usual shift at the cafe when it happened. Customer walks up, orders a drink, I pour it with precision and hand it over with a smile. Except that drink wasn't meant for them, it was for the next person in line. So now we have one unhappy customer and another without their coffee. Tossed off a quick apology, offered a free refill as compensation. But then later that day, I was clearing out some old inventory from the back room. Found an order ticket with my name on it showing how many drinks I made in one shift, a new record. Couldn't help but feel proud of myself for hitting such a high number despite messing up earlier that morning. Then felt guilty for thinking about breaking my own record while there were still coffee spills to clean. So yeah, here's me admitting all this out loud to anyone who cares to read it. Maybe just needed the space to reflect on how I can do better moving forward.
