My Late-Night Snack Hoarding Habit

Anonymous Smug Prowler #311 · General

Ever since I moved to college, I've noticed a strange habit of mine. Whenever it's late and everyone is asleep, I feel this urge to raid the kitchen for snacks, but instead of just having one or two, I end up filling my room with all sorts of treats, chips, cookies, chocolate bars... anything that seems remotely appealing at 2 AM. It’s like I’m storing away provisions for a solo survival situation on an alien planet. But here’s the thing: I never actually eat much. The snacks just sit there, taunting me from across my room. Sometimes I wonder if it's because I feel homesick or stressed about school, but why would that translate into a midnight snack hoard? Is this something everyone does when they're feeling overwhelmed, or am I just being silly and need to learn better coping mechanisms? What do you guys think?
