The Great Milk Hoax of 2023

I'll admit it, I'm a bit competitive. Last week, my roommates and I were arguing over who should buy milk since we all drink different amounts. One roommate said they didn't want to go out in the cold weather to get some. Being the clever one, I decided to play a small prank on them. So I bought two gallons of milk and left it unmarked, hiding the receipt. When my roommate came back empty-handed from the store, thinking no one had gotten any, they accused me of lying about going out in the first place. Little did they know that they were calling me out for something I actually did! It was a small victory, but hey, sometimes you just need to win your battles with style. And now everyone knows not to underestimate my milk hoarding skills.
