First Day Oopsie Fiasco

So here I am, my first day at college and everything goes sideways. My alarm didn't go off (no clue why), so I wake up just in time to grab breakfast on the run and rush out the door. Imagine walking into your dorm room after being gone all day and finding a note from yourself that says 'Remember: Take a shower before class!' Yeah, turns out my little reminder didn’t quite stick. Anyway, now I'm sprinting down the hall wearing the same clothes as yesterday and trying to figure out if I can duck into a bathroom on the way. The only problem is, in this building, you need your room key to use the bathroom after 10 PM! It’s like some kind of cruel prank. So there I am, with all eyes in the hallway on me because everyone's wondering what poor soul just forgot their keys. Now, here's where things get really crazy, on my way out this morning, I saw a flyer for a club meeting happening right now! Problem is, I totally confused it with my 10 AM class. So as I'm making my mad dash to my actual class (now about five minutes late), someone stops me and asks if I’m heading over to the chemistry club meeting too. And guess what? I nod and blurt out 'Yeah!' because clearly a shower, clean clothes, and actually knowing where my class is would make this whole situation better.
