i got caught cheating

so i was playing a trivia game and thought it would be easy to win so i looked up the answers on my phone real quick during breaks but then everyone noticed me scrolling and asked what i was doing. i felt so dumb and guilty like why did i think i could get away with that in front of friends? now every time we play, they always give me this look and it drives me crazy. how do you recover from something like this?
