I Got Caught Skipping Class for an Hour of Solitude

So, I was feeling really overwhelmed with school stuff last week. You know that feeling when you just need to get away and be alone? Well, I decided to take matters into my own hands one day after lunch. I sneaked out through a side door and headed straight to the park. It felt great being there by myself, sitting on a bench, watching people go by, breathing in fresh air. But of course, as soon as I returned to class, I was busted by our school principal who had somehow been alerted about my absence. Everyone was looking at me with these weird stares while Ms. Taylor gave me detention for the rest of the week. Guess being alone isn't worth missing out on fun classes and getting in trouble.
