Kids Laugh At Me But I Don't Care

I know my kids laugh at me sometimes, but honestly? They have no idea. So many secrets! Okay, maybe 'secrets' is a big word for some silly stuff, but here goes: Yesterday I dressed up in full pirate gear, the eye patch, hook hand, and all, to surprise them with their favorite snacks hidden on a treasure hunt around the house. It was like I had suddenly become Captain Hook from Peter Pan in real life! They were so shocked and confused at first, but then they started shrieking with laughter as if it was the most hilarious thing ever. And guess what? I didn't stop there, today I painted my nails all over again just to make them more colorful. Pink and blue stripes this time because why not? It’s like every little thing becomes a big deal when you’re home all day long, trying to keep these tiny humans entertained. So yes, they giggle at me for being such a silly parent, but honestly? I’m having too much fun to care.
