my home is my office and i make zero apologies for it

ok so i work from home as a freelance writer, and i love it. it's like the best job ever cuz you get to be your own boss and set your schedule and chill with cats all day. but sometimes ppl just dont understand the freedom of working from home and they assume you must not have much going on if you can wear pajamas to work or eat snacks in front of the tv while doing client calls. so i've had coworkers who think i'm slacking off, and family members who pressure me to 'get a real job.' but honestly? my setup is perfect and tailored just for me and i refuse to change it for anyone else's comfort level. i have a super cool space with all my favorite books around and comfy chairs, plus my cat perches on the desk while i write. clients are totally fine with this too, as long as deadlines get met (which they always do). so yeah, to those of you who think working from home means being lazy or undisciplined - screw that noise. my setup is optimized for productivity and creativity and it's awesome.
