Oopsie at Work

So here's a funny one from my day as a nurse. Today I was supposed to give medication to Mr. Jenkins in room 305. But guess what? Before heading over there, I had this weird urge to check on Mrs. Thompson in 317 for the third time just because she kept calling me ‘sweetie’ and it made me feel all warm inside, okay, that's totally unrelated but whatever! So while I was doing my little rounds, guess who decided to take a quick spin around the hallway? The meds cart with Mr. Jenkins' name tags still on them. Long story short, I ended up giving Mrs. Thompson her 3 PM snack at 2:50 and she thought it was hilarious. And Mr. Jenkins got his medication an hour late because apparently nobody's better than a nurse who likes to be called ‘sweetie’. Oh well, live and learn, right?
